Spirit Week and New Students in 3.2!

Spirit Week started off today with everyone wearing their favorite PJ's to school for Pajama Day! We saw lots of warm, comfy pajamas as people showed their school spirit by participating in this student council-sponsored activity. Tomorrow is Twin/Triplet Day, where students can choose to dress alike.

Please note that Wednesday has CHANGED and will now be Japan Day with students being encouraged to wear RED to show their support of the citizens of Japan.

We also met our two new students! Both Jannes and Nidhish have begun to setttle into our classroom routines. Jannes joined 3.2 on March 15th and Nidhish joined today. We also said goodbye to Hana, who left last week to return to Japan.

Unit 5 in continuing with students investigating choices that they make and how they make them. They are looking at who/what influences their choices and what can be some consequences of their choices. As a final summative assessment, students are being asked to organize a lesson to teach to the class. Many choices will be made and discussed over the course of the next few weeks as students look at what subject areas to teach, which lessons are necessary, and how to go about doing it. In addition to surveying peers for ideas of what to teach, students will also intereview teachers to learn about techniques which may help them to make their lessons more effective.

Below are some pictures from our "No Choice" morning from March 16th!
