Market is Tomorrow!!!

Hello 3.2 parents!!!

 

Tomorrow is the day we have all been waiting for... Christmas Market Day!!! As you may have seen on the blog (or heard from your child) parents are invited to visit the market from 9:00-9:30 tomorrow morning as part of a PREVIEW. Some things to let you know about ahead of time:

• Parents will not be allowed to shop tomorrow morning. This is to give the fourth graders (our target audience) every opportunity to buy our products.
• Parents will be asked to assess a group tomorrow morning. We will have rubrics available when you come in: You are asked to get a rubric and a blue crayon or marker to write with. Please look at the easel then you come in to see which group you need to assess.
• PLEASE ask the children questions about EVERYTHING! They should be able to discuss with you their market survey, their products, the packaging of their products, price of their products, and promotion (advertising) about their products. Ask to see their folder as well.
• After you assess your group, feel free to visit your child's stall as well and ask they questions too!
• Your child MAY bring some money in to shop if there are products still available at the end of the sale. In the past, we have let Grade 3 students shop at stalls where there are still products available at the end.

Thank you for all your help and encouragement during this unit. The kiddos are SUPER excited and cannot wait for the sale tomorrow... See you then!
